Screaming Flamingos to Take Back Gilded Goblet, Prized and Bronze

The Penta-county regional ballet competition starts this coming Saturday and San Isidoro's own Screaming Flamingos are a serious contender for the prized bronze gilded goblet.

A little bit of history, back before the modernization of San Isidoro, back when it was still known as San Isidro (a typo had caused the sudden and drastic change to the name when the computers were brought in), the Screaming Flamingos had held the prized gilded bronze goblet for close to 7 years straight. Sadly, they lost it to the Sharks back in '65. Ever since then, the Screaming Flamingos have not been able to hold, let alone drink from, the goblet, bronze gilded and prized.

Not this year though, our girls have a chance to reclaim the throne and bring glory to our fair town. Hours and hours of practice have basically melded these fine young ladies with their dancing shoes, and they are starving to take back what is ours! Local parents were beaming with joy when the Flamingos, still twirling and swirling, boarded the bus yesterday. The farewell was tearful and heartfelt, but everyone present knew that the girls would be bringing home the gilded prized goblet that is bronze.

Lets send our hopes and dreams to our very own San Isidoro's Screaming Flamingos as we watch them live on the television this coming Saturday. They are sure to bring home the coveted bronze prized gilded goblet with all the practice they have put in!
