High Water, Higher Pay and The Highest Acts of Hydroterrorism

After the recent conclusion of the Bi-Decade Power Shortage, working residents of San Isidoro returned to their offices with smiles on their faces. The first rainstorm of the summer is here, and you all know what that means; higher pay for all!*

For those of you who have been living in the dark for the past year (which you have!), the San Isidoro city council announced last November that due to the extend vacation that many workers experienced during the Bi-Decade Power Shortage, everyone* shall be receiving a bonus to their pay when the first rainstorm of the summer arrived (which it has!). This is very good news to the poorer members of our community, who have already begun spending on potting materials for the upcoming conclusion of this year's annual cactus potting competition which is set to end in August.

But the excitement has even reached the upper crust of the San Isidoro community. The Conversationalist* talked to known elitist and fashion mogul, Sebastian Dinerino.

C (The Conversationalist*): Mr.Dinerino, you were one of the first to take to the streets of Northgreen Groves (the most expensive neighborhood in San Isidoro) to throw money around after the announcement of the rainstorm. Why is that?

S (Sebastian Dinerino): Well you see, after the Palm Casino incident, which I'm sure your spunky reporter Ms. Notch is very well aware off, economy here in San Isidoro has been less than optimal. With this bonus profits coming in to all* employed residents of our fair town, this might get us back on track.

C: Fascinating. Do you think this will help your business in particular?

S: Why as a matter of fact, yes. The fashion industry in San Isidoro has always been a stable market. People just love to buy clothes and change the way they look. With all the extra money residents will be making, they would be more willing to spend on things they want. I even think that my Summer Collection this year will reach record sales. The designs this year are absolutely enthralling.

C: We wish the very best for your collection. Mr.Dinerino, do you have anything else to say before we end this engaging interview?

S: Yes. Remember everybody*, spend your bonus pay on us! Buy Dinerino Fashion, Buy Elegance!

Sebastian Dinerino and the other residents of Northgreen Groves are still on the streets throwing money into air, which are inadvertently getting soaked by the rainstorm.

In addition to the extra pay, the San Isidoro city council also announced a flood warning for all residents living by the lake. Even though the new hydro electrical dam was installed, their might still be some flooding because of recent high scale attacks of hydroterrorism around the city. The S.I.P.D. has started construction for a new water tower to store all the tall, bald men but for now they have been keeping these hydroterrorists in the cell room of the notorious "Sewer Bandit" who is set for trial this week. Remember folks, lock those doors, windows and bathrooms!

Hydroterrorism has been at a record high this month and authorities speculate that this may be because of the rainstorm. The S.I.P.D. hope that the danger level will decrease when the rainstorm leaves the area. They advise all* who will be spending their time in the malls because of the pay increase to stay away from sources of water. They also ask residents to report any acts of hydroterrorism to them immediately using the police hotline.

The incoming rainstorm has triggered a balance of good and evil here in our humble town of San Isidoro, but things seem to be looking up and our future looks bright! With everyone* enjoying the bonus pay by shopping and those hydroterrorists running amok, I think I'll be spending the rest of the weekend indoors with a nice cup of cactus juice.

*All residents who are not under 30, work in a factory, have children or are currently medically alive.
