Water troubles? No more!
Authorities have recently apprehended the notorious "Sewer Bandit" yesterday after a heated exchange of gunfire at the town water tower. Thankfully, only the criminal was injured as he was reportedly using a toy water gun to shoot at officials.
"I thought he had pulled out a gun on me," rookie police officer, Mike Sanchez claims, " he didn't put it down when I ordered him to."
The "Sewer Bandit", now identified as Samuel Litersburough, former foreman of the city water plant, was shot multiple times in the right leg, before falling into the open water tower he was stealing from.
"Anyone will tell you I have bad aim, but I was wearing my glasses and my lucky socks that day, so I guess I got him just like fate would have wanted. A stroke of good luck like this was overdue after my wife Clara left me last week," Officer Sanchez told The Conversationalist.
When questioned about why he shot him more than once, Officer Sanchez claimed he saw more than one suspect. He also told The Conversationalist that he wanted to let off some steam after his wife left him for a biker from out of town. Samuel Litersburough is currently receiving treatment for his wounds in St.Richie General Hospital of 55th street. If any of you would like to express your grievances, visitation hours through the front door are from 10 am to 5 pm. Mr. Litersburough's hospital room is on the first floor as well, and has not one, but two windows. Send him your regards before his trial next Monday.
This is another excellent story about how the brave men and women of our town have stopped yet another "Sewer Bandit" dead in his tracks.
God bless San Isidoro, U.S.A (and proud!)
