Hello there Isidrites!
As you might notice, today is a very special day. The anniversary of this newsletter, since it was founded all the way back in 1972! Oh how times have changed since then. (Look what I did there with the title)
Anyway, our fine newsletter has gone undergone many changes in its storied history- from the mob takeover of 1985 to the Occupy Isidoro Turmoil in 2000. Time and time again, The Conversationalist* has demonstrated its ability to survive the toughest onslaughts of time, space, sea and man. Now, we face the most relentless wave of them all- technology.
After Mayor Dunwal's newest proclamation to preserve trees and other fibrous plants as a source of delicious (and nutritious) food, our paper faced the momentous problem brought on by the rising tariffs of using paper to print. After a brief and heated meeting with our editorial board, which consisted of yours truly and Ms. Notch. We have decided to move San Isidoro's favorite and only newsletter to an easily digestible, succulent, online format. We know this may be a shocking change to our beloved readership, but henceforth and never the less, we know you will still be with us all the way.
Here's to things changing, but still managing to stay the same.
Signing off,
Frank Ocules
Editor-in-Chief, The Conversationalist* San Isidoro U.S.A. and proud!
